The Method

The Method — Never Ending Travel Adventures
The Method — Nearly a Decade of Real Results

Everything I Built.
Every Framework.
All in One Place.

This is not theory. These are the exact systems I developed and ran consistently for nearly a decade — on a regular income, raising a daughter alone — that made 20 countries and financial freedom possible at the same time.

Framework 01
F.A.T.E. — Financial Awareness
Travel Early

The overarching life philosophy behind everything on this site. The idea that waiting to travel has a real cost that never shows up on a price tag. Every year you wait your body gets older, your energy shifts, and the people you wanted to go with move into different seasons of life. F.A.T.E. is the antidote to someday.

F
Financial Awareness

Know Where Every Dollar Goes

Most people don’t have a budget problem — they have holes in their pockets. I identified and plugged mine. That’s where the travel money came from. Not a special fund. Not a big income. Just stopping the leaks. A penny saved is a penny earned is not old-fashioned — it is the foundation.

A
Awareness Applied

Knowing Isn’t Enough — You Have to Act

Awareness changes behavior. Small consistent decisions compound over time just like interest does. Every time I applied the WHEN/WHERE/HOW framework, the margin grew through awareness alone. Not a bigger paycheck. Just better decisions made consistently over time.

T
Travel Now

Not Someday. Not When You Retire.

Vienna and I are the direct answer to the three most common waiting traps: “I’ll travel when I retire.” “I’ll travel when I have more money.” “Now just isn’t the right time.” We’ve been to 20 countries across 5 continents — all on standard school breaks. The WHEN was never the problem.

E
Early

Time Is the Most Powerful Asset You Have

It is the 3rd Ingredient of Wealth — and you can never get it back once it is gone. Starting at 14, 16, or 22 is exponentially better than starting at 30. Vienna started investing at 14 because she watched me and understood. Do not wait until retirement to see the world. The world is available right now.

F.A.T.E. vs F.I.R.E.

We Respectfully Disagree

The F.I.R.E. movement tells people to aggressively accumulate wealth now so they can retire early and then live their life. It puts living on hold. It treats today as something to survive so tomorrow can begin.

F.A.T.E. says something different: build awareness, plug the holes, travel now — while you are young, while your family is together, while the memories are being made. I invested 35% of my income and traveled to 20 countries at the same time. These are not opposites. Awareness makes both possible. You don’t have to choose between living now and building for later. You just have to stop wasting money.

Framework 02
The 3 Ingredients
of Wealth Building

What I watched compound into real results over nearly a decade. The foundational wealth philosophy behind everything on this site. You cannot skip one.

#1

Live Below Your Means

The fuel. You cannot build margin if more goes out than comes in. This is not deprivation — it is the foundation everything else sits on.

#2

Create the Margin

The engine. The gap between what you earn and what you spend. Everything — investing, saving, traveling, building — comes from that gap.

#3

Time

The multiplier. Compound interest growth. The longer the runway, the bigger the outcome. This is the ingredient you can never buy back.

Framework 03
WHEN / WHERE / HOW —
The Spending Framework

What I applied to every purchase for nearly a decade. Making every dollar work as an asset, not a liability. Every dollar you spend is either working for you or leaving as a loss. I chose asset — consistently.

WHEN
Timing Purchases

Buy on Your Terms — Not the Store’s

Only bought meat and groceries when on sale — then stocked up. Only bought non-essentials at least 25–50% off. Knew the sale cycles of every store I used regularly. If it wasn’t on sale and wasn’t urgent, I waited. The sale always comes.

WHERE
Choosing the Right Store

Know Which Stores Give Real Value

Different stores have different strengths. Knowing where to buy what matters. Loyalty to a store that isn’t giving you value is a hole in your pocket. WHERE you shop is a financial decision — not just a personal preference.

HOW
Making Every Purchase Work Double

Spend in a Way That Pays You Back

I pay utility bills, gas, travel expenses, and regular purchases on a cash back rewards card. The money is always set aside and ready — the card is just the method. Full balance paid every single month. Never paid interest. Ever. At year end I collect the cash back reward.

The Core Mindset

Every Dollar Is Either an Asset or a Liability

Making your purchasing power work means buying at the right time (WHEN), at the right place (WHERE), in the right way (HOW). Combined with plugging the holes in your pockets, this is how an ordinary income creates an extraordinary margin.

And margin + time = wealth. I watched this happen. I’m sharing what I saw — not as advice, but as a decade of real results you can choose to replicate.

Framework 04
BUILD WISE —
Sequential Financial Steps

My complete personal finance framework for ages 14–39. Based on what I actually built over nearly a decade. Sequential — each letter builds on the last. Don’t skip the order.

B

Baseline Awareness

Know your income. Know your expenses. Know exactly where every dollar goes. You cannot fix what you cannot see. Start here. Everything else builds on this foundation.

U

Urgent Emergency Fund

Start with $1,000. Build toward 3 months of essential living expenses. I have a fully funded $25,000 emergency fund — built consistently over time. This is your financial seatbelt. Build it before anything else.

I

Insure the Big Risks

Health insurance, auto insurance, renters insurance. One uninsured event can erase everything you’ve worked to build. Protect the margin before you grow it.

L

Limit High Interest Debt

Credit cards used as debt traps, buy now pay later, payday loans — avoid all of them. Exception: the cash back card strategy in HOW above only works with complete monthly payoff discipline. Used correctly it’s a tool that pays you back. Used incorrectly it’s the biggest hole in your pocket.

D

Direct Your Paycheck

Automate everything. Route money into buckets automatically before you can spend it. I put 35% of my income into index funds and savings every single month. Automation removes willpower from the equation. You never miss what you never see.

W

Workforce Benefits

Free money is the easiest money. 401k employer match, HSA contribution — take every dollar. Not using these benefits is leaving your own margin on the table. I used every available benefit — it accelerated everything.

I

Invest Simply and Early

S&P 500 index funds. Dollar Cost Averaging every month regardless of market conditions. This is Ingredient #3 — TIME — working at full power. I invest 35% of my income. Vienna invests $50/month at 14. Starting early is the single biggest financial advantage a young person has.

S

Save for Real Life Goals

Not everything is retirement. Save intentionally for car replacement, moving costs, education, business ventures. Give each goal its own bucket and a timeline. Every goal has a name and a number.

E

Enjoy, Give, and Adjust

Money is a tool — not the point. Enjoy guilt-free spending on what matters. Give generously. Revisit and adjust the plan as life changes. I traveled to 20 countries while building wealth. That is what enjoying and building at the same time looks like in real life.

Framework 05
The Wander Window —
The Travel Booking System

The exact system Vienna and I developed together. The WHEN is always a school break — fixed months in advance. The WHERE is determined entirely by price. This one mindset shift is what made international travel possible on a real budget.

1

Write Your Top 10 Countries

Post the list somewhere you see it every day. This is your Wander Window — the destinations you’re actively watching.

2

Check Prices Once a Week

15 minutes. All 10 countries simultaneously on Skyscanner or Google Flights. Record what you find. Watch for movement.

3

Let the Best Deal Choose

When a school break opens, the country with the lowest price at that moment wins. That’s the next destination. Price leads — not desire.

4

Book Months in Advance

Book when the price drops — months before travel. This consistently produces savings of around 50% versus last-minute booking.

5

The 50% Savings Becomes Your Budget

The money saved on flights becomes the entire on-the-ground budget — food, accommodation, transport, experiences. The flight saving is an asset.

Flight Radar Mindset

Stay tuned in — like a radar dish — to prices and deals at all times, not just when planning a trip. Opportunity finds the prepared traveler.

The Key Insight — Always Remember This

Most travelers pick a destination first, then check prices. We let the prices help select the destination. The WHEN is fixed — it’s always a school break. The WHERE follows the best deal. That one reversal is the reason we’ve been to 20+ countries on a regular income without going into debt.

This is WHEN/WHERE/HOW applied to travel. Every travel dollar works double. Anyone can choose to use it.
